The Mont Gerbier de Jonc is a "suc" of the Monts d'Ardèche: sucs are ancient volcanoes whose very thick lava has cooled without having time to flow. As it crystallized, it turned into a rock called phonolite, which is used for roofs made of lauzes (example: the Bourlatier Farm, 3 km away). Phonolith is also used nowadays for music on lithophone.

Lieu aménagé avec un très bon standing, très spacieux, chambres en excellent état, grand spa & jacuzzi, etc ! On a passé un week-end mémorable dans ce cadre si chaleureux.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à la Ferme du Vallon ! Le gîte est spacieux, très bien équipé et décoré avec soin. Et que dire de la vue, on ne s'en lasse pas ! En cas de besoin, Christophe est disponible et réactif. Nous avons d'ailleurs beaucoup apprécié le jus de pomme de la maison à notre arrivée, ce genre d'attention fait toute la différence. PS : Les animaux sont acceptés, nous avons pu pleinement profiter de l'Ardèche avec notre Golden Retriever.
Nous avons passé 3 semaines de vacances dans cette demeure magnifique sur tous les points. Cette maison est au calme et elle permet de profiter de la nature environnante. L’équipement de la maison n’est pas en reste. En effet une piscine magnifique, la cuisine d’extérieure avec énormément d’équipements permet de profiter au maximum des journées, le baby-foot, le flipper, la piste de jeu de boules, la table de Ping Pong… bref une chose est sûre : on ne peut pas s’ennuyer. Je voulais aussi parler de l’aménagement de la maison, à l’exception de 2 chambres avec un wc commun, elles ont toutes une salle de bain, un WC, une télévision, un rafraîchissement d’air et la cuisine dispose de tout ce qu’il faut en plusieurs exemplaires pour ne manquer de rien. Nous étions 16 pendant 3 semaines et la maison est tellement grande que nous avons pu profiter des lieux sans nous sentir les uns sur le autres.

Great stay in this beautiful, perfectly clean and equipped holiday home! We worked there for a whole week as a team and the setting was just perfect.
The house and the exterior are very pleasant and well maintained. The main room of the house is large. The kitchen is functional but lacks a bit of equipment for a house that can accommodate 10 people. The bedrooms: a very nice and large double room with bathroom on the ground floor, and a very small bathroom on the first floor. A perfect children's room. The other 2 double rooms are of good size but with twin beds, one of which is on the mezzanine of the living room. Great disparity in the quality of the bedrooms. The hosts are very, very responsive to any problems and send someone straight away. We had a great stay with friends!
We had a very nice Christmas with our family. The house is very comfortable even in winter and the fireplace is very cosy. We had a good walk in the surrounding villages and in the forest. The plus, a complete living unit on the ground floor, ideal for the granny who can no longer climb stairs. In short, a good stay!
Excellent stay, the property is magnificent, very well maintained, the pool for us alone is magnificent, the accommodation is very well equipped. Beautiful walks to go on: Vélorail in the Gorges du Doux, Mont Gerbier de Jonc, Tournon sur Rhone, Crussol, La Voulte sur Rhone). Thank you for accepting dogs.
